Becoming Like Water 

 

 In September I attended training by Dr Emmett Smith on Becoming Like Water. Dr Emmett explained that as infants we breathed with our stomachs. True, as a mom I checked on my baby to see if her tummy was rising and falling as she slept. Something happens however after we are older, and we begin breathing from our mouth and nose. 

 

Changing breathing patterns has been a game changer and was supported by my personal physician. One of the major symptoms of fibromyalgia is insomnia and exhaustion. Rest and sleep are imperative to function in our lives. I literally fell asleep during the training Becoming Like Water. Since then, I have used that technique every night with immense success. 

 

 During daily life, work and personal, when I feel stressed, I have been able to use this method to calm my nerves without drugs. It is a win-win. I highly recommend this training. There are no drugs or equipment involved, it is simply learning to sleep and breathe like we did as infants. It is amazing what change this has meant to my life. From my personal experience, optimal breathing works wonders in different departments: Pain. Relaxation. Emotional blockages. Emotional stability. Anxiety. Depression. Blood circulation. Sleep. Analyzing different situations. And if you are like me who have more than ordinary abilities, it will be enhanced with this program. 

 

 I will explain everything in detail about all the top-mentioned topics based on my experience with optimal breathing. In my first week of implementing the optimal breathing technique into my routine, I felt silly, as with everything new, you are always conscious about how we react to it, but from my personal experience, I am going to give you information on how my body reacted, and how it has changed my life, and what it has helped improve in my life. 

 

 The first time when I was exposed to this technique, my brain switched off in a way. I noticed things around me, for instance, people talking but not registering what they were doing or saying. I was more relaxed than ever before. It took a few minutes for my brain to register anything, not that I wanted it to, which is where the relaxation comes in. 

 

I felt rejuvenated. I wish reality did not exist. How my body reacted on 

 

Week 1

 and what has happened: Our bodies are no longer able to breathe with our diaphragm automatically. This is caused by stress. It will feel weird and take time to get your body to breathe that way again. You do not have to worry if your body shivers as you exhale for the first 3 weeks +-. That will happen when your body is adjusting to something new. It receives more oxygen to vital organs, and your blood flow and circulation increase. I used this technique as a form of medication. 

 

I still take my meds, but not as often as I used to. You do not have to do it as much as I did. I noticed I feel better when I do optimal breathing, so in a sense, I got addicted to it. You will feel the first week that something in your body is changing. Mine was my blood circulation, oxygen levels, and skin color. In the second week This is when things started getting interesting for me. I realized why it is we lose our ability to breathe with our diaphragm, and as Dr Emmit has told us, we lose that ability, but why? 

 

So I started to look into finding that answer with this technique and found, as a baby, you are not as exposed to life stress and the rush of our daily lives as you are once you start preschool, in preschool you start learning to be away from your parents for long hours, in turn, this is where stress starts, kids do not like to be in an environment where their parents are not present. As you get older. You are in middle or high school, and your stress increases as school exams and learning with everything else in school stress you out. 

 

The same goes for adults. Daily responsibilities worsen, and the haste of daily life increases. With everything else added, your body automatically breathes faster to get more oxygen and to get more oxygen, you have to breathe faster and more frequently. Hence, our bodies adapt to the way we breathe today. By doing optimal breathing, you are re-establishing this diaphragm breathing. You are improving a lot of things. Some chemicals in my brain have changed. The way I process discussions and words are different. The actions and reactions OF individuals did not affect me as badly. No matter if it was negative or positive. I did not react to them. I was shocked when I realized it felt like I was looking at these situations as a third person. 

 

 On week 3 

 This chemical in my brain increased. I was not stressed out as much. I was not as depressed as I once was. My anxiety has decreased a lot, and although I do get days where it does still happen, it is less often. Yes, there were times it felt like my brain went on autopilot. What I mean by that is I would do things without thinking about doing them. 

 

 I no longer overanalyze situations. I do not think about things as much as I used to do. I do not let negativity impact my emotions anymore. I almost felt like a swan. Words represented water droplets on a feather. Their words did not hurt me. It rolled off my shoulders like a droplet of water. That realization made me realize that my former issues have lessened, not disappeared but lessened, and my pain has decreased over time. It is not gone completely, but I can handle it, or at times, it is slightly over-tolerable. It is much better compared to what it once was. 

 

 On week 4

 I noticed that I am more emotional than I used to be, and I learned that optimal breathing can help to stabilize emotions. I have this tendency to suffer emotionally on the inside. Optimal breathing made it impossible for me to keep my emotions in check. Why? Optimal breathing helps you to release in every sense of the word, release stress, release emotions, release pain, etc. If you feel emotional, that is normal during this training. It helps with our emotional health and stability. I cried on and off during this week's optimal breathing, but this negative energy needs to be released. I noticed I could not keep blocking my emotions like this. I can not keep pushing them aside like they do not exist. It needs to go. 

 

 On week 5

 My sleep has started to improve by at least 50%. I used to get 2 hours of sleep a night due to pain. I now sleep for 4 to 6 hours if I am lucky. It was Foran to me. I felt like someone who slept 24 hours and was exhausted, As this week ended, I started adjusting. I was not as tired. I was not as annoyed or frustrated. I felt different. I felt happier and more relaxed. 

 

 On week 6 

This is where I realize my abilities beyond the ordinary have enhanced tenfold. I can feel others' pain and emotions by walking past them. Or by talking to them over the phone. Before this training, it would only happen with people I am close to, but since doing this training. It was with everyone, also animals. I was almost 100% sure this was not supposed to happen, but it did. I have hated it for years, but then again, I do not hate it cause I can help more people than myself, and so I did. I would highly recommend this training to anyone and everyone. 

 

If you suffer from the top-mentioned topics, and some of us thought we would never get past them, but now we can. This technique does work. Yes, it takes time, but if you utilize this technique regularly. You can see improvement. This technique might work for you. It has HELPED me. Dr. Emmit is going to change history with the training program that he has in store for me and you. I am glued to his program. This single technique changed so much for me. I want to share a little bit of the amazing health benefits I’ve received because of the Becoming Like Water Program. 


 I have multiple health conditions including fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome, diabetes, IBS and chronic pain syndrome. Plus several other conditions.
 

 

But today I would like to tell you about how Becoming Like Water saved my legs. Especially when the hospital had just informed me that I may loose my right leg beIow the knee if the infection didn’t stop spreading and the water retention didn’t start responding to treatments I was suffering severely with diabetic ulcers, cellulitis and water retention firstly in my right leg as you can see in the picture below. 

 

 After about 3 months the diabetic ulcers and cellulitis started in my left leg which you can see in the picture below. 
 Eventually after 5 months both legs has all the same problems and I also started getting thick extremely dry layers of skin on my right leg. 

 

 This is when Dr Emmett Smith and the becoming Like Water Program offer to help me by giving me early access to the program as a beta tester and it changed my life. 

 

 After 6 months of following the program my diabetic ulcers had totally healed and disappeared. My infections had stopped recurring and the water retention has reduced by over 90% as you can see in the slide show below.
